6/25/09 Congratulation of the governor and the speaker on the Day of the Russian Youth
Dear Tomsk citizens!
There comes a holiday which is close to each of us, - the Day of the Russian Youth. For young people it is an occasion to communicate, to have an active rest with their friends friends, to have fun how it can be done by those who is not yet 30 years old. Well, and the adults on this day will recollect their youth with pleasure, years of study, reliable friendship and the first love.

6/25/09 The anti-recessionary staff has discussed questions of employment of graduates
The next session of the anti-recessionary staff has taken place with the presidency of the governor of Tomsk oblast ,Victor Kress. The question of employment of graduates of high schools, schools and technical schools was considered. The heads of educational institutions and enterprises have taken part in this session.

The 22nd of June – is a terrible day in the history of our Native land. 68 years ago a peaceful life of the huge country, a peaceful life of millions people have been destroyed by the fascist invasion. Our Native land has suffered inconceivable deprivations and sufferings.

6/15/09 The governor Victor Kress has taken part in the selector meeting of Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in Siberian Federal District
In the meeting which was taking place today in a mode of a video conferencing, participated the heads of the regions, included in the Siberian Federal District.

On Monday the governor of Tomsk oblast Victor Kress has met representatives of the British company «Isis Enterprise» Mark Mawhinney and Tim Hart.

Yesterday the governor of Tomsk oblast Victor Kress has visited a number of museum establishments of Tomsk. In a museum of wooden architecture (the house of Kriachkov) the governor has visited a new constant exposition, that was open on the 14th of May.

5/29/09 Fund "Public Opinion" has published research of reputations of governors of the Russian Federation regions during the economic crisis
By results of the research, the governor of Tomsk oblast Victor Kress and the head of Republic Karelia Sergey Katanandov are named the unique heads of regions who managed to improve their reputation in opinion of inhabitants of the regions in conditions of the economic crisis.
